Enterprise Safe Mode

Overview

Enterprise Safe Mode is a stricter operating profile for teams that want to adopt an AI compute wallet without widening data exposure, provider sprawl, or uncontrolled agent spend.

It is designed for evaluation, procurement, and production environments that need encrypted key handling, explicit route approval, budget controls, auditability, and narrow retention settings before broader media, async, or experimental workflows are enabled.

Wallet-first operating profile

Safe Mode starts with a wallet inventory: BYOK sources, Quotaflow supply, locked resources, approved model families, qf keys, teams, tools, agents, and reporting owners.

  • BYOK and platform supply inventory
  • Approved provider and model routes
  • Scoped qf keys for tools and agents
  • Budget and quota controls
  • Usage metadata for reporting

Retention and async workflow controls

Text and structured workflows can be configured around limited operational metadata. Asynchronous image, video, and job-based workflows can require temporary request persistence to execute, retry, and retrieve jobs, so Safe Mode restricts or disables them when that profile is not appropriate.

  • No training on customer data
  • Zero or limited retention profile review
  • Disable async media workflows when required
  • Restrict experimental routes
  • Document enabled provider paths

Rollout checklist

Enterprise rollout starts by mapping owners, provider paths, agent workflows, security requirements, procurement terms, SLA needs, and the activity ledger outputs that leadership needs to approve scale.

  • Confirm owners, workspaces, and qf keys
  • Confirm approved model routes and supply sources
  • Set quota, budget, and spend controls
  • Review logging, diagnostics, and retention
  • Validate activity ledger, savings, and ROI reporting
